Piers Morgan received a hilarious Father’s Day card from his eldest Spencer as he took the opportunity to poke fun at his iconic Good Morning Britain walk-out in March.

As the famous journalist was enjoying a birthday dinner for his second son, Stanley, at a fancy London tapas restaurant, Piers was given an incredibly funny card, illustrating himself as a cartoon.

Spencer, his eldest, gifted the presenter with a Father’s Day card depicting a drawn-out version of his dad wearing a suit and walking away.

The card read: “Happy Father’s Day.

“Thanks for never walking out on me.”

The witty gift was an obvious nod to Piers' last appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, where he iconically walked out following a debate about Meghan Markle ’s claims regarding the royal family.

He also wrote: “thanks son”.

The British TV star became a huge topic of conversation following Good Morning Britain’s episodes from March 8 and 9.

After Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah, Piers had expressed his doubt regarding the accuracy of the Duchess of Sussex's claims that a member of the royal family had made racist remarks about baby Archie.

The journalist had also received a tremendous amount of Ofcom complaints as he voiced his questioning regarding the Duchess of Sussex saying that she had had suicidal thoughts while in Buckingham palace.

This ultimately led to an on-air argument with Piers’ co-host, Alex Beresford resulting in the presenter walking out of the studios.
