A YouTube star died aged 17 after a seven-hour heart operation.
Alex Dragomir, known as Sir Kipsta, lost his life following seven hours in surgery as his sister told his fans the news.
She said: "His heart couldn't take it anymore, he was too week to survive."
From Alex's hospital bed, the YouTuber had been blogging daily and uploading videos to his account before his tragic death.
His sister broke the devastating news to the fans on her brother's Twitter account in a series of tweets.
In a glowing tribute, she said heaven had gained another angel and celebrated her brother as her everything.
She wrote: "Helllo, as you all might already know my brother passed away today.
"He had a very hard operation which lasted 7 hours but his heart couldn’t take it anymore, he was too weak to survive. Heaven gained another angel. He was my rock my everything . RIP Alex."

She added: "Thank you so much to those who supported Alex thru his hospital journey you all been so amazing !you all kept him going gave him the energy to carry on ! All the messages kept his head up . He carried on due to all the nice support he had from twitter. RIP Alex." (sic)
Alongside her kind words, she shared a photograph with her Manchester United fan brother.
In a haunting last post, Sir Kipsta thanked fans for their support and said he had a great time ahead of his surgery.

He wrote: "Going in for a life saving procedure if it don’t work then it’s been a great time people thank you for all you’ve done for me but we pray we see it through and we pray we get fatter and fitter after it for them to see progress and not say they can’t do anything after surgery."
The Manchester United fan had built up a loyal following on Twitter of 17.4k followers during his rise to YouTube fame.
His YouTube videos explored his health struggles as well as his passion for Manchester United football club.
In his football videos, he would live stream watching Manchester United play.
His mum set up a GoFundMe account when her son suffered with heart failure.

A statement read: “Kipsta has had heart failure which has gotten worse over the years to the point where he’s had to come into hospital where he’ll be living until he gets a heart transplant.
“However, first he has to get fit for the transplant surgery.
“With money being an obvious worry, Kipsta needs our help. It has taken a long time to convince him to set this up due to his humility but with the situation worsening, he needs our help.”
