The Samford athletic department named Jen Gandolph assistant coach for the Samford volleyball team. She will join head coach Dex Schroeder’s staff.
Gandolph, former volleyball standout player at the University of Michigan, comes to Samford from the University of Georgia, where she served as the second assistant for the Georgia Bulldogs’ volleyball team for one season.
Gandolph began her volleyball coaching career in 2005 as an assistant at the University of New Orleans. She held that position for two years.
"I have known Jen since her playing days at Michigan, and Samford is very lucky to land such a great coach and wonderful person," said Schroeder.
