This week, the School of Business became the Brock School of Business in lieu of a $100 million endowment. President Westmoreland stated, "A rising tide raises all boats," which leaves us wondering when the "tide" is going to rise for the rest of campus.

Make no mistake - we as a Crimson staff are excited that the business school instantly gains both prestige and resources from this recent endowment.

Unfortunately, it is hard to enjoy monetary plentitude in one area of campus when there are other areas desperately lacking in funding.

Students in classrooms in Brooks have to relocate when it rains due to unattended leaks. Students who cannot afford the university's constant rises in tuition could benefit from more scholarships.

While we are appreciative of the many gracious gifts that Samford's benefactors have recently afforded us, we ask the administration to consider the places that could use money the most and seek to raise money for all areas of campus.
