Women's basketball falls to Elon in 60-59 heartbreaker

The women's basketball team's second-half comeback fell just short as the Bulldogs dropped a 60-59 decision to Elon in a Southern Conference contest Monday evening at the Pete Hanna Center. "Elon is well-coached. They are a tough team. They are athletic, and they shot the ball well," head coach Mike Morris said.

Students gain real-world sports marketing experience

Rarely in an academic setting are students encouraged to examine Sports Illustrated or watch ESPN's SportsCenter. A required class field trip to Talladega County to tour the Superspeedway and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame is an even greater rarity.

FCA is for more than just athletes
