It's been 16 years since Mean Girls was released and it still makes us laugh to this day.
We thought we knew all there was to know about the movie, but according to social media, we were wrong.
A TikTok user named Sabrina Alease has pointed out that a line from the end of the film is actually an 'iconic' joke that many people haven't picked up on.
In a video on the platform, she explained: "It's come to my attention that most people don't know the most iconic joke in Mean Girls.
"If you remember at the end of the movie, Kevin G starts dancing with Janis and asks her 'Are you Puerto Rican?'
Did you ever catch this joke?

"She says 'No, I'm Lebanese'.
"If you remember earlier in the movie when Regina was talking to Cady, she was talking about how she didn't want to hang out with her because she thinks she's a lesbian.
"The whole premise of the movie was based on the fact that Regina didn't understand the difference between Lebanese and lesbian."
Sabrina's video has since gone viral, being watched more than 171,000 times and garnering over 56,000 likes.

Many people responded to say they didn't pick up on this when watching.
One said: "LOL I never caught that."
Another wrote: "How did no one notice this?!?!"
A third replied: "I'VE BEEN WATCHING THIS FOR SIXTEEN YEARS AND NEVER CAUGHT THIS."
"I LIVE off this movie, I BREATHE this movie AND I DIDN'T KNOW THAT," added someone else.
A different user admitted: "It took me 12 years… 12 years to get that joke."
"I have never connected the dots like that," responded a sixth.
A seventh posted: "Oh… I've watched it wrong for so many years."
Some people were a little unsure about this though, pointing out that in the movie Regina tells Cady she thought Janis was a lesbian because she was "obsessed" with her and "jealous" when she got a boyfriend.
But despite this, Sabrina remained committed to her theory, taking to the comments to say: "What did she do that was so obsessive? Call Regina and ask her where she is and what she's doing? Don't you ask your friends that?"
