A former school caretaker has been jailed for sex attacks on a teenage girl which left her scared to wear dresses.
Serial sex offender Raymond Newell, 75, targeted the youngster on two occasions and touched her underneath her clothing.
The terrified victim then pleaded with her mum to throw away all her dresses after Newell "changed her childhood forever".
A court heard the attacks came over a decade after Newell was jailed for repeated sex assaults on a 12-year-old girl in 2005.
Prosecutor Julia Cox said his latest crimes took place in Newport, South Wales, within the last five years.
In a statement, the victim's mum said: "She was distressed and upset and couldn't believe he had done this to her.
"She has been affected in many ways and now refuses to wear dresses. She made me go through her wardrobe and throw all her dresses out.

"It has also affected her confidence in herself and she is wary around people now.
"At times she suffers with low mood, is always crying and emotional. This incident has changed her. She used to be fun and outgoing and wouldn't care what anyone thought.
"She used to love wearing dresses or skirts but will only wear leggings now. This incident has affected her and it has definitely changed her childhood forever."

Newell has now been found guilty of two counts of sexual assault following a trial.
Defending Andrew Davies said Newell was a "lonely isolated man" who lived alone with his dog and did word searches.
Judge David Wynn Morgan said Newell was a "danger" to members of the public and particularly young girls.
He added: "You touched the breasts and bottom of your victim under clothing.
"You pose a danger to members of the public, in particular to young girls.”
Newell, of Newport, was sentenced to an extended sentence of five years in prison.
He will be on the sex offender register for life.
