Homebase shoppers are in luck because the home improvement retailer has slashed the price of its egg chair, and it's perfect for the summer months.

Now setting you back £220, down from £350, the "Rattan Pod Egg Chair" is cheaper than similar chairs from Robert Dyas and Argos.

Roberty Dyas is selling its outdoor egg chair for £299.99, while Argos sells a similar version for £250.

The Homebase egg chair is made of rattan material and also comes complete with a comfy padded cushion to sit on. It is currently one of the cheapest on the market – so don't hang about if you're keen to get one for your home.

Aldi's original hanging egg chair tends to sell out immediately due to it being one of the most popular designs.

Customers were also left disappointed after a new version of the egg chair which has room for two people also sold out immediately.
