Luckily, Twitter tipster PS5StockAlertUK has shared some exciting news regarding new stock arriving this week.

John Lewis last had a PS5 drop at 7am on 13 July. As usual with the retailer, it didn’t last very long, but it does always seem to drop early at 7am. Now, we’ve had an indication as to when exactly the console could be dropping on the retailer’s website this week.

The PS5 stock Twitter account posted: "PlayStation 5 (John Lewis) Exclusive News!

"Shipment arrival 26 June, stock quantity: 1,872

Just a heads up, 26th July is when John Lewis is expecting to receive the console shipment, not when they will go live."

The twitter user revealed that John Lewis' stock is expected to drop between 27 and 29 July – so make sure to put those dates in your diary.

PS5StockAlertUK guessed the restock will be available early in the morning from 7-8am.

Online retail giant Amazon is also one of the retailers rumoured to have a restock this week. The console was released on the website a couple of weeks ago, however it was only available to Amazon Prime customers.

The retailer is predicted to drop stock between 27 and 29 July between 8am and 10am. We’re unsure whether stock will still be available only to Prime customers, but it may be worth signing up to the 30-day free trial just in case.
