Celebrities may live lives that most of us can only dream of with millions of pounds in the bank and plush mansions to call home.

But all of these privileges don't stop them from experiencing the heartache that can come with trying for a baby.

Alex Reid became a dad this month after his partner tragically suffered multiple miscarriages following years of IVF, and Danielle Lloyd is thrilled she's finally pregnant with her much longed-for baby girl after having four sons.

Here we take a look at celebrities who have all welcomed miracle babies after going through difficult times.

Alex and his partner Nikki Manashe welcomed a daughter earlier this month.

They had been trying to have a bay for seven years using IVF, and tragically lost several children, through one ectopic pregnancy and multiple miscarriages.

The couple, who have been engaged since 2014, excitedly announced last year they were expecting twins, but Nikki later suffered another miscarriage, losing one of the twins.

But the other twin survived, and Nikki gave birth their daughter Anastasia Pixie Reid in July.

Announcing their joyful news, Alex said on Instagram: "Introducing to the world – Anastasia Pixie Reid. Born 13th July weighing 6 11.

"Mum and baby are doing great. @ivf_mama_nikki has finally been discharged from hospital after 4 days of having around the clock care from the amazing Barnet General.

"I finally feel complete. 7 long years it's taken us to get here. My miracle rainbow baby is perfect. We finally have a happily ever after as a family.

"Life is just perfect. I'm so proud of my girls."

Danielle Lloyd

Danielle has been dreaming of having a daughter for years after having four sons.

She is mum to Archie, 10, Harry, nine, and George, seven with ex-husband Jamie O'Hara, and Ronnie, three, with hubby Michael O'Neill

The former glamour model announced she was pregnant back in May, and said that if this baby isn't a girl she'd keep trying until she had one.

Then in July she was thrilled to announce that she is expecting a baby girl after all.

"I'm over the moon. I can't really believe it, to be honest," Danielle told OK! magazine. "I don't think it will feel real until she arrives."

She added: "We booked a private gender scan and I had such bad anxiety in the run-up. I've been through it four times and each time they've said it was a boy, so I was expecting them to say 'boy' again.

"I videoed the whole thing and the doctor went on about the measurements and other things, and you can hear me going, 'Can you just bloody tell me?!'"

I felt sick. I couldn’t breathe on the way there," Danielle went on. "It was excitement, nerves, everything. And then he handed Michael a bit of paper, which said, 'It's 99% a baby girl.'

"I burst into tears straight away, I just couldn't believe it."

"I would love to be a mum with all my heart and I just thought it would happen naturally," she told Hello! magazine in January 2019.

"James is also desperate to have babies and I just wish it could have happened by now. That's the one gift I would love to give him.

They then turned to IVF and welcomed their beautiful baby girl Ella in February last year.

Brian and his fiancée Danielle Parkinson announced they were expecting their first baby together last year after going through IVF.

The former Westlife singer is already dad to Molly, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 18, from his marriage to Kerry Katona.

He and Danielle had been trying for a baby for two years and tragically suffered two miscarriages.

Danielle told OK! magazine when they announced their news: "It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel awful saying that, as I've had so many messages on Instagram.

"The IVF community is so lovely and I've heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt."

In May they announced that they'd welcomed a baby girl when Brian shared a photo of Danielle pushing the baby in her pram.

He said: "Mammy, Daddy and baby out for our first walk together. It's been the best week of our life @daniparky."

A month after she was born, the couple shared that they had called their daughter Ruby Jean McFadden.
