A murder investigation has been launched after a 37-year-old man was found dead in a town in Wales.
Emergency services were called to Cardigan in Ceredigion in the early hours of this morning.
Parts of the town centre were cordoned off overnight as a large number of police officers were seen in the area, Wales Online reports.
The main road into the town from the south was closed off for both motorists and pedestrians, while parts of nearby Golwg-y-Castell were also sealed off by police.
Paramedics were also called to the scene after receiving reports of someone having suffered “traumatic injuries”.
Police have now confirmed that a man, aged 37, has died, while a 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
