Arsenal have made just one transfer so far this summer, bringing in left-back Nuno Tavares from Benfica for a £6.8m fee.

However, more additions are expected, with Mikel Arteta's side desperate to bounce back from a disappointing campaign last season.

The Gunners finished eighth in the Premier League, failing to qualify for Europe for the first time in 25 years, and they were knocked out of the Europa League in the semi-finals.

As well as new signings, multiple outgoings are still expected, with the likes of Joe Willock, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac and Reiss Nelson linked with moves away, either permanent or on loan.

Ben White set to complete £50m move

Arsenal have agreed a deal in principle to sign centre back Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion

The two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee of around £50m for the 23-year-old, who was part of England's Euro 2020 squad.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for White and they had been locked in negotiations with Brighton in a bid to strike a deal.

Arsenal's first two offers were rejected by the Seagulls, forcing the north Londoners to meet their bumper asking price.

Houssem Aouar of Olympique Lyon

Arsenal pull out of Aouar race

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar and they are in the market for a number 10, with Martin Odegaard unlikely to return to the Emirates.

However, according to French outlet le10sport, the Gunners have pulled out of the race to sign Aouar this summer.

The report states that Lyon are hoping to receive a fee in between €20m and €25m (£17m-£21m).

However, Arsenal are unwilling to spend that much on Aouar and they are said to have ended their interest.

The report also states that Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the 23-year-old.

Bellerin asking price set

Right-back Héctor Bellerín is widely expected to leave the Emirates this summer, with Inter Milan among the clubs linked with his services.

Inter recently sold Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around £51m, with the club struggling financially and desparate for the funds.

As a result, the Serie A side are in the market for a new right-back and they are said to be interested in Bellerin.

However, according to a report from the Sun, Inter are unwilling to pay Arsenal's asking price.

The Gunners are reportedly demanding around £15m for the 26-year-old, while Inter would prefer to sign him on loan with an option to buy.

The report states that Arsenal would be willing to let Bellerin leave on loan but only if the deal contained an obligation to buy.

Arsenal have already agreed a similar deal with Marseille, with Matteo Guendouzi joining them on an initial loan before making a permanent £10m switch.
