The Government has announced that rules requiring face masks indoors will be scrapped from July 19, as the final stage of the UK’s lockdown lifts.
Businesses will be able to set their own rules on their premises, and it will be up to individuals to decide whether to wear a mask.
The Government is expected to stress that wearing a mask can reduce a person’s risk of catching coronavirus, as well as reducing that person’s risk of spreading it, in crowded settings where they come into contact with people they do not normally meet.
So what will the experts and politicians do – will they still wear one? Watch the video above to find out.
