Lauren Goodger has set trolls straight who have commented that it feels like she has been pregnant forever.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 24, is currently expecting a daughter with her partner Charles Drury with the baby due in July.

However, not all the messages that the expectant mother has received have been particularly nice.

On Thursday, the reality TV star shared an image of her bump as she lay in bed and discussed her sleeping patterns but also comments she has been receiving on Instagram.

Sharing the image on her Instagram Stories, Lauren penned: “Me and bump just had a nap.

“I sleep so much better in the morning/day than nighttime!

“Baby girl doesn’t move as much either we sleep”.

“I am not due yet but few weeks she be here – July baby [pink hearts emojis]”.

She then added: “Everyone keeps saying on here seems like I’ve been pregnant forever I am only pregnant same time as everyone else haha”.

Lauren concluded: “I’m growing a baby and she will come out when she ready at the end of 3rd trimester [white heart emoji]”.

The post comes after Lauren hinted earlier this week that she was looking forward to the end of the pregnancy as she had been suffering the pain that comes from Braxton Hicks.

On her Instagram story, Lauren shared a post that read: "It's ok to want your pregnancy to be over."

The post showed an illustration of a pregnant woman with a thought bubble that reads: "I am sooo done!"

Lauren penned with the post: "Braxton hicks are strong! And so are my hormones – cry me a river today!"

Braxton Hicks can involve contractions that are also known as false labour pains and also hormonal changes.

Last month, Lauren revealed that she was already braced for nasty comments about her little girl once she's born.

Speaking on The Hot Mess Mums Club podcast, Lauren told hosts Jenny Powell and Kelly Pegg: "A lot of other mums have messaged me and said, 'be careful of the mum police' but I'm just not going to worry about anything like.

"Because I think they've got something to say about absolutely every and anything anyway so I'm not going to take it seriously.

"But I've got quite a thick skin because of it."

She continued: "I don't listen to the negative comments but my partner's [Charles] a little bit more sensitive and he'll get more upset because I know people are going to write, 'your baby is ugly' because a lot of celebrities do get that."

The reality star said she was prepared to be doing a "lot of blocking" once her daughter is born.

Lauren rose to fame as an original cast member on TOWIE from 2010 to 2012 but departed the cast after the sixth series.

She returned for appearances in 2015 and 2016, however, but has not appeared on the show since.
