Switzerland's Bosnian-Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic (L) and Spain's coach Luis Enrique will go head to head

Switzerland will play Spain in Saint Petersburg this weekend for a place in the Euro 2020 semi-finals.

Spain beat Austria 5-3 in extra time in their last-16 match to secure their quarter-final spot while Switzerland produced a huge upset to knock one of the tournament favourites, France, out on penalties.

When is Switzerland vs Spain?

What time is kick-off?

What TV channel is it on?

The match will be on ITV, with coverage beginning at 4.15pm.

What is the team news?

Switzerland have no known injury concerns, but they will be without their talisman and captain Granit Xhaka – who played such a leading role in that victory over France – due to suspension.

Spain, meanwhile, could be without Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Valencia left-back Jose Luis Gaya, who are both struggling with injury. Unai Simon looks set to continue in goal for the Spaniards, despite his high-profile gaffe against Croatia.

What is our prediction?

The Swiss’ giant-killing of France will be remembered as one of the standout moments of the tournament, but asking them to repeat that performance against a Spain side that will be well tuned to the threat they pose – and without their captain, Granit Xhaka – is a big ask.

Predicted score: Switzerland 1 Spain 2
