A Brit holidaymaker was left with blood dripping from a head wound after she was allegedly hit with a Champagne bottle during a row over a sunbed at a trendy Marbella beach club.

Blessing Gundu, Rojeen Imanzadeh and Rebecca Frisch, all 20, were enjoying the sun poolside and having drinks at Nikki Beach when they say an argument quickly escalated.

Rojeen was left covered in blood and requiring stitches on the first of a three-day break, after a man is said to have hit her with a bottle.

Blessing claims that when the trio went round to the other side of the pool to get more sun, a couple took exception.

She said that she may have put her arm on the woman’s sunbed and removed it when she was asked to do so.

At this point it is reported that the couple spoke to staff and asked for the trio studying in Leicester to be removed.

Rojeen was hit following an argument with a couple that started over a sunbed

A shouting match followed after the Brits asked why the couple had asked them to be moved.

Blessing told the Sun: "When we stood up, they started shouting at us. The girl then threw a pillow at me, so naturally, I grabbed the pillow and threw it back at her.

"Her boyfriend must have seen this and he grabbed a drink and threw it at Rojeen.

"Obviously, her first instinct was to throw one back at him and as she threw it, he grabbed an empty bottle of Moet Champagne and threw it at Rojeen's head."

Rojeen had blood streaming down her face from the wound and the three women were angry that the couple were then allowed to get dressed and leave.

Blessing said how the trio from Leicester had been enjoying themselves before the unprovoked attack poolside

While Rojeen now has to go to hospital every two days to have her wound cleaned.

Rebecca’s older sister Nathalie Frisch has also taken to Instagram to slam the attack on them that led to Rojeen “ending up in hospital needing stitches”.

She said: “The two involved first verbally abused then threw pillows and drinks at them before the man threw a glass Champagne bottle at them."
