Love Island's Liberty Poole's admits her love of players is keeping her from finding her perfect man.

The 21-year-old waitress will be joining fellow sexy singletons in the ITV reality show's Majorca villa and is looking for a 'cheeky chappy' to hook up with.

She told on Twitter last year how she struggles to find guys on her own 'wavelength' and has even encountered a shock engagement proposal when waitressing at Nando's.

She recalls: "It was a bit unexpected! He was on his own, he’d come into the restaurant every week and he got down on one knee and was like, ‘Will you marry me?’

Love Islander Liberty has told she wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to finding Mr Right.

"But in his hand, it was a charity support badge not a diamond ring or nothing. So I was thinking, that’s one way of saying I’m a charity case when it comes to love!"

But she's clearly wowed casting directors to be one of the island's sizzling stars and has previously joked how she's used to some drama when it comes to dating.

She joked on Twitter in 2020: "I seem to be in that many love triangles feel like I’ve earned myself a place on love island."

Waitress Liberty Poole has been confirmed as a contestant on Love Island's seventh series.

And Liberty says her ideal man would be an alpha male, tall and confident.

She added: "A cheeky chappy sort of guy. But obviously that’s always usually combined with player types, which is where I go wrong. So I am trying to change my ways and go for more of a nicer guy that is going to treat me right.

"I've never had that nice, happy relationship so I think it will be nice and something for me to experience."

But she told followers on Twitter last year how she has a 'toxic trait' which is causing her heartache.

She tweeted: "My toxic trait is if a guys interested I ain’t if he loses interest I’m interested hate me."

And whatever happens in her could-be relationships on the Love Island this summer, Liberty is also looking to enjoy making a new girl gang.

She added: "Obviously I want the best summer ever because we have been in lockdown for a year so it would be nice to go away and enjoy the sun and make friends as well.

"I’m excited, I’m a bit of a social butterfly so I love to meet new people. I’m a girls’ girl as well so I can’t wait for the girly friendships. It’s going to be fun!"
