Dame Joan Collins made a savage jibe at Piers Morgan during her Life Stories interview on Sunday when probed on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Piers, who has made his disdain for the couple abundantly clear, tried to goad Joan into criticising them on the ITV interview, but Joan, 88, refused.
She pointed out doing so could be detrimental to one's career – and brutally joked to Piers that his own career had been affected by it.
Piers quit Good Morning Britain after sparking outrage for claiming he "didn't believe a word" when Meghan told Oprah Winfrey about feeling suicidal while pregnant with baby Archie.
His words were highly criticised given ITV's stance on mental health, and he sparked hundreds of Ofcom complaints.

Piers and Joan began the discussion as Piers asked Joan about her friendship with Princess Diana.
She recalled a time with Diana where they were swamped by paparazzi, with Diana totally overwhelmed.
"[Diana] said, 'Is this always going to happen?' and I said, 'You just have to try to get used to it," said Joan.
"She did try to avoid them, didn't she? Tragic life," she added.

Piers asked: "What do you make of what's going on with the British Royal Family now, with Meghan, Harry, the feud with William, Charles?'"
Acting out pulling a zip over her lips, Joan replied: "My lips are sealed on that subject.
"I just don't want to go on national TV and say what i think about Meghan and Harry, because look what happened to you!"
Piers laughed: "Well exactly, thank you!"
Joan also opened up on the harrowing moment her street was bombed during WWII, and she broke down in tears discussing the tragic 2015 death of her sister, Jackie Collins, from breast cancer.
