Robin Gosens got his own back on Cristiano Ronaldo in the best possible way after the Portugal forward left him feeling "ashamed".
The Germany left-back plays his club football for Atalanta and came up against Ronaldo in a Serie A clash with Juventus this season.
Following the match, Gosens approached the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and asked if he'd be willing to swap shirts.
Gosens claims Ronaldo refused to even look at him as he uttered the word "No" and walked away.
The defender was left feeling "ashamed" and "embarrassed" but he had the last laugh in the Euros this weekend.

Ronaldo drew first blood as he opened the scoring for Portugal before Germany put them to the sword, netting four over the course of the match with Gosens getting in on the action.
Portugal did net a late consolation to make it 4-2, but it was Gosens and Germany's day.
Gosens didn't make an attempt to swap shirts with Ronaldo following the match.
Gosens previously opened up on Ronaldo snubbing him in his new biography, 'Dreams are worthwhile.'
An extract from the book, published by Goal.com, read: "After the game against Juventus, I tried to fulfil my dream of having Ronaldo jersey. After the final whistle I went to him, having not even gone public to celebrate … but Ronaldo did not accept.
"I asked: 'Cristiano, can I have your shirt?' He didn't even look at me, he just said: 'No!'" I was completely blushed and ashamed. I went away and felt small.
"You know that moment when something embarrassing happens and you look around to see if anyone noticed it? That's what I felt and tried to hide it."
