It’s well known I don’t like the rain so hopefully it eases off soon!

The main thing is obviously whether the horses will handle it and I think my Saturday rides look OK in that respect.

It’s always an honour to ride for The Queen so I’m looking forward to Reach For The Moon in the Chesham (2:30pm).

She’s come out of her second on debut at Yarmouth well and will hopefully take another step forward here.

Fundamental seems to be heading the right way at the moment and lines up in the Jersey (3:05pm).

She was fifth in the Greenham which is always a hot race and ran well on her last start at Newmarket.

Her only run on soft ground came as a two-year-old and she seemed to handle that OK.

Everyone will be looking forward to seeing Logician (3:40pm) again.

I don’t think he’ll mind the ground and we’re hoping he’ll come on a bit from his first run back.

How much he’ll improve for that run it’s hard to say, but he definitely should and he seems in good order.

Final Song takes her chance in the Diamond Jubilee (4:20pm).

She had the option of the Wokingham but Saeed [bin Suroor] is obviously very happy with her so she takes her chance in this.

Her second to Extravagant Kid in the Al Quoz Sprint looks like solid form but she still needs to step up to win a race like this.

She’s run well on soft ground before too so I’m hopeful she’ll handle it.

The Wokingham (5:00pm) is about the hardest race of the week to work out.

Desert Safari looks versatile in terms of ground, but he is off a career high mark so will have to be at his best.

King Frankel looks like a nice ride in the Golden Gates (5:35pm).

I’m yet to ride him but he looks a very nice, consistent type and must have a big chance on all known form.

I’m back on Falcon Eight for Dermot Weld in the Queen Alexandra (6:10pm).

He won the Chester Cup in very good style and this race was always going to be the next target, so I’d say he’s a worthy favourite.
