Liam Payne took to his Instagram Story on Friday to reveal his £5million home has suffered a massive leak amid the wet weather in the UK.

The One Direction star, 27, showed off the concerning leak coming from his kitchen’s ceiling as the rain poured down on his skylights.

First speaking to camera, the Strip That Down hitmaker said: "Hi guys so I've woken up this morning and my house is leaking.

"The sky's not really giving us a break there," he added after showing the water-stained ceiling.

After updating his followers on his leak, Liam turned the conversation to his new platinum blond hair.

He said: "So with my little experiment as to whether blonds do have more fun, not really finding that yet, not really finding that out. Haven't had any more fun than usual."

It was first reported in December that the music star had moved to be closer to son Bear, four, amid lockdown restrictions.

It was claimed Liam moved from his London pad and is renting a £5million seven-bed-mansion in Buckinghamshire around the corner from his ex Cheryl.

The idyllic home is said to boast a snooker room, swimming pool and private cinema.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Liam is really enjoying chilling out.

"He’s writing music and painting a lot. He’s dedicated to his son and being the best dad he can be."

Elsewhere, Liam revealed he pulled the classic post-break up move of transforming his look now he's newly single.

The For You singer unveiled his newly dyed peroxide blond hair on Thursday after he confirmed that he has split from his fiancée Maya Henry after a 10-month engagement, saying "it had to happen".

Showing off his new look, Liam took to his Instagram Stories to share two posts of himself with his new hairstyle, and previously sharing a video of himself with his old dark hair.

The former One Direction star bemoaned that the wet weather wasn't helping the situation

In the first snap, Liam smouldered down the camera lens as he revealed his new look.

The music maker also had a slit shaved into his eyebrows, which are still his natural dark brown hair colour, and sported a grey hoodie as he stared directly down the camera lens in the photo.

The second post was a Boomerang video of Liam laying shirtless in bed as he pouted and looked up and down.

"Night guys thanks for all the love," Liam captioned the Boomerang.

Earlier this month, Liam revealed that he is newly single after splitting from Maya, who had been with since 2018.

He confirmed they'd split on the podcast on Diary of a CEO, telling Steven Barlett: "I feel like more than anything at this point, I'm more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people.

"And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.

"I'm just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else."

He went on: "That's where I got to in my last relationship. I just wasn't giving a very good version of me anymore, that I didn't appreciate and I didn't like being. I can honestly say I feel better out of it.

"I didn't feel good doing what I did but it had to happen. Just a corny way to say it was the best for us both."

He added: "I know I was the problem and I have to sort myself out. I already feel good. It's got my more concentrated and I hope she's happy."

Liam and Maya had moved in together during the first lockdown last year, but sparked split rumours when they weren't seen together for months.
