Stars from around the globe have been paying tribute to Lisa Banes after the star died in a hit-and-run scooter accident.
The actress, 65, was left with "traumatic brain injury" after she was struck by an electric scooter on June 4.
The tragic news that she had passed away was confirmed by close friends on Monday.
Police are still searching for the scooter driver who struck the star.
Famous faces took to social media to pay their respects for the actress famous for her roles in the likes of Gone Girl, Cocktail, A Cure for Wellness and Pumpkin.
On Tuesday, Gone Girl novelist and screenwriter Gillian Flynn wrote: "My heart is so sad at the passing of Lisa Banes. I had the fortune to work with Lisa on GONE GIRL, and she was vibrant, keen, and wildly charming.
"Basically she would have intimidated the hell out of me if she hadn't been so truly kind. Love to her wife, family and many friends."
American actor Seth MacFarlane paid tribute to Lisa Banes following her death
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was also one of the first stars to comment on the sad news. He wrote on Twitter: "I am deeply saddened at the news of Lisa Banes’ passing. We had the good fortune to work with her on The Orville this past year.
"Her stage presence, magnetism, skill and talent were matched only by her unwavering kindness and graciousness toward all of us. A tremendous loss…"
Actor Kevin Conroy also penned: "When Lisa entered a room or walked onto a stage she brought electricity. Such a beautiful, unique, talented woman. Life is so brief."

He went on to share an image of the pair in a separate tweet and said: "This is how I will always remember Lisa Banes. We shared a cottage in San Diego, 1982, SD Old Globe Shakespeare Festival. Our first dinner in our little house as we struggled to cook dinner! With Lisa everything was an adventure."
China Beach star, Dana Delany emotionally wrote: "Terribly sad news about Lisa Banes. She was a consummate actor who commanded the stage. We worked together on China Beach & I wish there had been more. My heart goes out to her wife and family."
Also sharing its thoughts was Juilliard, the New York City school where the actress studied before making a name for herself in theatre, film, and TV.

It tweeted: "The Juilliard community joins Drama Division Group 8 in mourning the loss of their classmate Lisa Banes (BFA 1979, drama), who passed away yesterday.
"Lisa was tragically injured on June 4 in a hit-and-run accident on the Upper West Side while visiting from Los Angeles.
"Our deepest sympathies are with her friends and family, and especially her wife, Kathryn Kranhold."
