Love Island babe Zara McDermott is rumoured to be keen to take her relationship with Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson to the next level but a new report suggests wants to move more slowly.
A close source to the couple told New magazine Zara is hoping for her partner Sam to put a ring on it soon, as well as wanting to start a family.
The insider said: "Zara is very keen on fast-tracking things with Sam and would love to be engaged and have a family as soon as possible.
The magazine reports 28-year-old Sam is reportedly less sure about the situation.
Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson are no strangers to loved up public displays of affection
"Sam’s a bit more reluctant and tends to put the brakes on things,” added the insider.
The reality TV couple were dating for 16 months until their very public split last year when Zara, 24, confessed to cheating on her man.
She admitted she was unfaithful to the star during her stint on ITV’s The X Factor Celebrity in 2019.
Zara famously begged for Sam’s forgiveness, which Channel 4 even aired in an iconic Made in Chelsea scene, and the duo ended up rekindling their romance shortly before Christmas that year.
She recently posted a snap of her kissing Sam which was taken two years ago, reminiscing on who she was back then.

"I was quite literally a different person back then,” she recalled. "In so many ways, physically and emotionally! What a difference two years makes."
With Sam’s Made in Chelsea star sister Louise Thompson announcing she is expecting a baby with fiancé Ryan Libbey, the source mentioned Zara is hoping this will give Sam a nudge in her direction.
The source said: "He doesn’t like to feel like he’s missing out and will want to be involved in the parent gang.

"Zara hopes Sam becoming an uncle will make him more keen to start their own family. She hopes he’ll soon realise they’re ready for that next stage of their romance."
The Mirror has contacted Zara’s management who are yet to respond while Sam’s representatives declined to comment.
