Jurgen Klopp continues to be linked with a number of targets as Liverpool look to return to title contention next season.
After winning the Premier League in 2019/20, the Reds suffered a host of serious injuries, derailing their attempt to retain the title last time out.
Ibrahima Konate has already arrived to bolster the defensive ranks, while a midfielder could be on the agenda following Georginio Wijnaldum’s departure on a free.
Asked about his plans, Klopp admitted that the squad can improve, despite being happy with what is currently at his disposal.
“I'm very happy with my squad – very, very happy,” he said at the end of the season. “Could this squad improve? Yes, like each squad could. Is that affordable? I don't know.”
With that in mind, here are the latest Liverpool transfer rumours:

While the Reds were previously linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, shelling out nearly £100m on a winger appears unlikely at best.
However, the England international’s move could yet impact Klopp’s transfer plans, according to reports from overseas.
According to BILD , Dortmund are keeping an eye on former Arsenal forward Donyell Malen as a potential replacement for Sancho, should he complete a move to Old Trafford.

Calciomercato report that Liverpool are also in the race for Malen, along with Serie A giants AC Milan.
Arsenal allowed Malen to join PSV four years ago and has become an integral part of their side, as well as earning a place in the Netherlands squad in Euro 2020.
Ox tipped for exit
Wijnaldum may have already departed, but according to Liverpool legend another midfielder could move on, in the shape of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

After recovering from injury, Oxlade-Chamberlain found himself well down the pecking order and struggled for a consistent run in the side.
With his future uncertain, Barnes believes a switch to a side like Leicester could help revitalise his career.
“I think Leicester or West Ham," Barnes told BettingOdds.com.
"Leicester would probably be a bit better suited because they’re more stable than West Ham as they know that they will be in the top seven most seasons, which isn’t the case for West Ham.
"However if he wanted to go back down south then I think West Ham would be a good move for Alex, too."
Borussia Monchengladbach’s Florian Neuhaus is understood to be on Klopp’s radar with scouts keeping a close eye in his performances at Euro 2020.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City have also been linked with the midfielder, although reports have suggested Liverpool have ‘moved first’.

And Klopp’s close relationship could give the Reds another edge in the chase for his services, according to a Bundesliga expert Floran Plettenberg.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo on their Blood Red podcast, the Bundesliga expert described Neuhaus as "special" and explained why the Reds have the upper hand in the race.
"Neuhaus is very good in front of goal and he is a dangerous player," said Plettenberg.

"He is very flexible and can also play on the wings – technically and physically very good, and the perfect player for Jurgen Klopp.
"Klopp has shown that he can develop players and I have never heard a player who could not imagine working with him!
"Klopp knows the [agent] of Neuhaus and the [agent] of Neuhaus knows Klopp very well, so it could be the perfect match – he would fit very well," revealed the reporter.
