Kylie Jenner divided opinions when she shared photos of her latest manicure – with garish organs nails coated in lumpy clear bumps leaving some fans repulsed.
The 23-year-old reality star took to social media on Sunday to give fans and followers an up close look at her extravagant new nail design.
But many could not stomach the appearance of the nails, with many comparing the bumps on her fingers to warts, herpes, blisters and even a fungal infection.
As something of a beauty expert – and a billion dollars in the bank thanks to her cosmetic range – Kylie made a rare misstep with her latest nail look.
Kylie Jenner divided the opinions of fans when she showed off a daring new nail design
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Kylie shared photos of the extravagant design.
She showed off elongated nails which were painted clear at the base and turning orange once the nail left the tip of her finger.
Clear blobs of glue, or possibly added clear crystals, were stuck on to the ends of her nails.
Fans were disturbed by the 'wart-like' effect the manicurist gave Kylie

Kylie suggested the end effect was meant to represent drops of water on her nails as she shared a simple caption alongside the snaps showing orange heart and splashes of water emojis.
But fans saw less palatable imagery in the design – and flooded her comments section with alternative suggestions.
One wrote the final nails: “Looks like an overgrown shiny fungus infection.”
Another concurred, writing: “I thought the same ! Ewww that is not my first choice.. she needs a redo.”
Several other fans suggested the nails looked simply like “blisters”.
But another compared the design to a sexually transmitted infection, writing: “God it’s herpes somebody pop that virus ewww.”
Fans also compared the nails to a fungal infection and blisters
Many others compared the nail design to skin growths with one writing: “They remind me of warts.”
While others suggested the manicurist had got carried away with a device, with one writing: “this random nail technician had a glue gun.”
But others were delighted by the design, with one approving fan writing: “it looks like rain drops on finger nails to me.”
