EastEnders' Louisa Lytton has praised her closest pals for throwing "the best best day" at her surprise baby brunch.

The mum-to-be was blown away by the extra special efforts of those close to her to make it a day to remember.

The 32-year-old is expecting her first child with fiance Ben Bhavra and shared her shock and gratitude on Instagram.

And there was a scrumptious looking lemon-coloured cake to devour while throwback photos covered an indoor table in what appeared to by a game of "guess who".

"It became difficult to differentiate between work and home in my head. I hadn’t had the reassurance of a scan, so at times I was almost trying to protect myself by acting like it wasn’t really happening."

The star first made her pregnancy public in an adorable post on Mother's Day.

Louisa and Ben shared an adorable video of the announcement. While the pair both looked elated, it was their pet pooch that won the show by wearing a cute neckerchief that read: "My parents are getting me a human."
