Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that Christian Eriksen sent a WhatsApp message to his club teammates after his collapse on Saturday afternoon.
Danish playmaker Eriksen required urgent medical attention, including CPR, after collapsing during his nation's opening Euro 2020 game against Finland.
The 29-year-old is in a stable condition in hospital, as confirmed by the Denmark FU (Football Union) and UEFA.
And Inter chief Marotta has revealed that Eriksen sent a message to the club's WhatsApp group.
“The players are very close and we all immediately communicated with each other after seeing those images," Marotta told Rai Sport.

"We didn’t want to be invasive and so tried to respect his convalescence once we had been reassured.
“I can only say that 10 minutes ago Eriksen himself sent a message in our internal chat and this confirms the bond between the players.”
Marotta also claimed that Eriksen's collapse was not due to Covid-19, but insisted that Inter would not be providing further medical information before Denmark's medical team.
“He did not have Covid and was not vaccinated either," Marotta added.
"At this moment, Eriksen is under the guidance of the Danish medical staff.
"It is right that they release information, but I can say the Inter medical staff have been in contact with them from the start.”
Eriksen's Inter team-mate Romelu Lukaku dedicated his opening goal in Belgium's 3-0 win over Russia to the midfielder.

"I hope he gets well again; he has two young children, they need him and so do we as a team. I’m happy with the win but my thoughts are with Christian now.”
