Youri Tielemans has emerged as a Liverpool transfer target.
But Jurgen Klopp's Reds may have to get back to winning ways first if they want to snap up the Belgian.
Tielemans joined Leicester City on an initial loan deal in 2019 before impressing and joining the club permanently.
In fact, the midfielder was so impressive during his loan spell that he also garnered attention from Manchester United, who were looking for a possible Paul Pogba replacement at the time.
But Tielemans snubbed the Red Devils in favour of the Foxes – despite his agent suggesting they at least wait for a bid.
Youri Tielemans has emerged as a Liverpool transfer targe
The Belgian was convinced by the ambition shown by Brendan Rodgers at the King Power Stadium, believing the club were well placed to win silverware.
Last season Leicester City won the FA Cup and narrowly missed out on a top-four finish.
Tielemans scored the vital goal in the Foxes' 1-0 win over Chelsea to clinch the historic trophy at Wembley.

This, coupled with quotes from the Belgian star when he was previously asked would he sign fresh terms to extend his stay at Leicester City, suggests Klopp may have his work cut out convincing him to join.
"Why not [remain at Leicester City]? said Tielemans. "This is a club where you have the best environment you can have. The people around you just want the best.
"It's brilliant to be here, we'll see what's coming in the future but the environment is perfect to win trophies. You can't predict the future but everything around the club and inside the club is made for it."

Liverpool are, of course, no strangers to silverware having won the Premier League title in 2020 and the Champions League the season before that.
But last campaign Klopp's men fell short across the board, and the German will be looking to bounce back next season to ensure his side continues to attract the world's best talent.
Tielemans is currently being considered alongside Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Liverpool are in the market for a central midfielder having just parted company with Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Dutchman joined Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year deal when his contract expired at Anfield.
Upon leaving Liverpool, Wijnaldum said: "Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a new challenge for me.
"I'm joining one of the best squads in Europe and I want to bring all my desire and commitment to this ambitious project.
"Paris Saint-Germain have proved how good they are in recent years and I am convinced that together, with our supporters, we can go even further and higher."
