Christian Eriksen is awake and stable after receiving CPR on the pitch following a horror incident during Denmark vs Finland.

Eriksen fell to the turf during the first half of the Euro 2020 clash.

There was immediate concern from players of both countries, with his teammates forming a barrier around him.

Medical staff rushed on to the field of play and CPR was administered.

Eriksen's wife came on to the pitch and was consoled by Kasper Schmeichel, who himself was in tears.

The Finland players and match officials then left the pitch, before the fixture was officially suspended.
