The Range Rover Sergio Aguero gifted to Manchester City staff via a raffle has already been put up for sale on internet auction site eBay.

Aguero's 10-year spell at the Etihad comes to an end this month, with the striker already set to join Barcelona on a free transfer when his City contract expires in a few weeks.

The Argentine has already been unveiled as a Barca player at the Nou Camp, but he ensured he did not leave City without showing his gratitude for those working hard behind the scenes.

As part of his generosity, he gave every staff member a raffle ticket to win his 2016 Range Rover Evoque, and kit man Ally Marland was the lucky recipient.

The forward handed over the keys to the flash motor to Marland in the car park of City's training ground, before the pair hugged as Aguero said his goodbyes.

But as they have no need for another car, Marland and wife Nicky put the Range Rover up for sale on eBay, with five per cent of the final buy price set to be donated to Derian House Children’s Hospice.

Speaking of the hospice, located in Chorley, Lancashire, Nicky said: "We are aware of the work they do and how they rely on donations to operate."

The vehicle is almost brand new as well, having racked up just 10,500 miles.

At the time of writing the current price stands at £24,100, having attracted two bids so far with days still left to run.

Not only did Aguero give his car away, the 32-year-old also shelled out around £60,000 to buy every person in City's backroom team a watch, made by either Tag Heuer or Hublot.

Some of the watches were valued at over £1,500, with each engraved with a nice personal touch: "Gracias! Kun Aguero."

Barcelona confirmed the signing of Aguero earlier this month, and he admitted it had been his "dream" to play for the club.

"I am very happy, I will try to do my best for the club, help the team win important things. It is an immense joy," Aguero said at a press conference.

"For me, Barca has always been the best team in the world and Leo [Messi] is also there.

"I told [president Joan] Laporta before that as a boy I said: 'One day they will surely notice me.' And here I am. I didn't imagine it, but anyone runs to sign for Barca."

He added: "When Barca asked about me, I didn't even hesitate. I told my agent that I didn't want him to talk to another team, only Barca.

"It was an immense joy when they contacted my agent. I've been interested since I was 14 years old."

Pep Guardiola has also revealed what he told Barcelona's manager Ronald Koeman after seeing Aguero move to the Nou Camp, as reports Marca.

"He has made a spectacular signing with Kun [Aguero], he is a great goalscorer, a very good guy, he is a jewel, very intelligent," Guardiola said. "As I explained to Ronald, they have made a great signing."
