Hollywood star Harrison Ford has been snapped taking a leisurely stroll around Newcastle.

The legendary actor, star of the Indiana Jones’ films and a string of blockbuster movies during a stellar career, was photographed on Tyneside for a third day in a row.

Harrison, 78, is enjoying some welcome downtime as he takes a break from filming the latest Indiana Jones movie.

And having been spotted cycling around Newcastle’s Quayside earlier this week, as well as having a meal at The Ship’s Cat in North Shields on Tuesday, Harrison decided to check out some of the sites the North East has to offer.

Dressed in a simple grey t-shirt, jeans and workman boots, Star Wars icon Harrison looked at ease as he strolled around the streets with a couple of pals.

With his sunglasses hung around his neck, the famous actor was happy to check out the Quayside before he returns to filming the fifth instalment of the classic franchise.

Harrison is shooting some of film at Northumberland’s Bamburgh Castle, with the coastal location deemed the perfect fit for action stunts.
