Former Love Island star Wes Nelson believes Laura Whitmore has done an “amazing” job filling Caroline Flack’s shoes on the show.

Wes starred in the 2018 version of the hit ITV show – and his since gone to establish a promising music career.

And the 23-year-old former reality TV star thinks popular presenter Laura was the perfect replacement following Caroline’s tragic death.

“She [Laura] had some big shoes to fill,” stressed Wes. “It was a difficult situation when she came in, but she’s been absolutely amazing for the show.

“She’s done so well and kept it exciting and positive for the amazing show that it is. She’s done a fantastic job.”

Wes was out and about in London this week as he helped promote the launch of some exciting new Dott e-scooters which are available to rent in five boroughs this summer.

And although his music career is now his “only” focus, Wes has revealed he will be doing his very best to binge on this summer’s new Love Island series.
