Caitlyn Jenner refused to admit that Donald Trump lost the US presidential election to Joe Biden when she was pressed about her stance on the matter.

The 71-year-old former sports star, who also previously featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, joined a large list of Republican figures that are refusing to concede the outcome of the election over seven months since votes were cast.

Her latest claims come as she mounts a campaign in the bid to be elected as California Governor.

Speaking to ABC's The View host Joy Behar, Caitlyn appeared to swerve the question before going on to saying she liked some of the things that Trump did while in office.

During the interview, Joy asked: "You say that you’re a Republican, and I'm just wondering because a lot of Republicans in this country believe that Donald Trump won the election and not Joe Biden. Are you one of those people, one of those Republicans?"

"I'm not going to get into that, that election is over with," Jenner responds.

"I think Donald Trump did do some good things. What I liked about Donald Trump is that he was a disrupter."

Caitlyn was then pressed again about whether she believes Trump lost, and the television star once again refrained from giving a direct answer.

"'He was a disrupter when he was president. I want to do the same thing," Jenner added. "I want to go in and be a thoughtful disrupter in Sacramento."

"We need to change the system. I want to change that system for the positive. I'm in it for the people."

Although Joe Biden was sworn in as the US President in January 2021, a host of Republican politicians and campaign groups have continued to push the false narrative that the election was 'stolen'. What followed were several legal challenges, of which the majority have already been thrown out of court.

Caitlyn is trying to unseat California Governor, Gavin Newsom. The former runner revealed she was running as a candidate for the election on Twitter back in April.

In a statement, Caitlyn said at the time: "California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality.
