A mum allegedly had a baby with an underage boy she is accused of sexually abusing on a golf course, a court heard.

Sarah Campbell faces a total of 15 sexual offence charges in relation to two teen boys between 2016 and 2018.

The 39-year-old, of Bootle, Merseyside, teared up as she denied all allegations today at Liverpool Crown Court.

She appeared wearing a black top, leggings and sandals and with her hair tied in a bun during this afternoon's hearing, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The mum, with dyed red hair up in a bun and wearing a black top, leggings and sandals, appeared in court this afternoon.

She entered not guilty pleas to the charges, which are all said to have involved her intentionally touching the boys in a sexual way, "not reasonably believing" they were 16 or over.

Campbell faces nine counts of sexual activity with Boy A, when he was aged between 13 and 15, all of which allegedly took place between 2016 and 2018.

Eight of these counts are alleged to have involved penetrative sexual activity, with some specifying this took place in her bed and once at a golf course.

One charge specifies that her child was conceived on that occasion when she allegedly sexually abused the boy.

The remaining non-penetrative count in relation to Boy A is said to have involved her touching him with her feet.

Campbell faces six counts of sexual activity with Boy B, when he was aged between 13 and 15, all said to have happened between 2016 and 2017.

Four of these counts are alleged to have involved penetrative sexual activity and the other counts are said to have involved two non-penetrative sexual activity.

Simon Christie, defending, said his client denied all of the allegations.

Martine Snowdon, prosecuting, said Campbell's trial was estimated to last four to five days.

She said: "The defendant is on bail with conditions not to contact either of the complainants."

Judge Louise Brandon set a trial for May 9, 2022.

She remanded Campbell on conditional bail until that date.
