Geordie Shore's Ricci Guarnaccio has left reality TV behind for a music career after signing a record deal.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate has turned DJ and producer and signed a major multi track deal with UK label Love And Other, the sister label to Toolroom Records, under the musical banner of Ricci G.

Now, the 34-year-old can't wait until he's able to play his music to huge crowds of people.

He exclusively told the Mirror: "It’s crazy! Going from Geordie Shore, one of the biggest TV shows in the world, to signing a multiple track record deal with Love & Other records is the best feeling in the world!

"I’ve put in a hell of a lot of hard work over the last three to four years and it’s nice to be able to say my music is going to be heard around the world and when things go back to normal, I’ll be playing my music to people. It’s such a good feeling!"

Ricci’s first release with his new label, Ride With Me featuring Emily Williams, was released today and is available on all platforms.

He co-produced the track with UK DJ and producer Josh Goodwill.

After leaving the MTV show behind, Ricci went on to try his hand at acting, making his silver screen debut in horror movie Boar.

He played Oscar in the creature feature that sees an Australian town terrorised by a horrifying killer boar.

Ricci went on to lead the cast at the Brussels International Film Festival whilst beginning his musical journey producing tracks and hitting the decks across the UK for the past three years.

Speaking about switching up his career in 2019, Ricci told The Hollywood News : "I moved [to Australia] in 2016 and I’m gonna move back over there next year. It’s just such a beautiful place, I love it. But to get Boar, I was touring Australia and I met the director on set there.

"He was, 'I’d love to get you involved in something one day', and then because I moved over he was saying, 'Let’s get Ricci in the film, let’s get Ricci in the film. We’ve got to kill him off!' So I had a few meetings with them and got the script, and went and did acting classes with a coach for four months."

After getting the acting bug, Ricci said he'd love to land a part in an Aussie soap.

He added: "I would love to jump into something like Neighbours or Home and Away. I just feel like they’d be really enjoyable to do. Reality TV will always be there, always. I might be doing something in America at the end of this year, and in New Zealand, but I think acting for me at 31/32… so I think for longevity it would be something good to go into."
