Jennifer Aniston has taken to social media in an attempt to raise awareness for the ongoing pandemic alongside her best pal Courteney Cox.

The 51-year-old actress and her Friends co-star, 56, both donned matching blue face masks as they posed for a selfie.

Alongside their latest snap, Jennifer urged her 36 million Instagram followers to do their part to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

It comes days after the United States surpassed an alarmingly high number of 300,000 daily reported cases of Covid-19.

Taking to Instagram, the actress was trying to do her part in encouraging others to wear a mask.

"This isn't over yet… wear a mask and do your part," Jen wrote alongside the selfie.

In another post, Jennifer also urged those that had recovered from Covid-19 to consider donating their plasma, in order to help patients currently battling the virus.

"Right now there is a surge in ICU COVID-19 parients. The plasma from people who have recovered can help treat these patients during the surge," Jen told her followers.

"It takes about an hour and a half to donate – and you could help up to 4 COVID patients.

One social media account even branded her a "fool" for joking about such a serious crisis.
