Coronation Street's Gary Windass actor Mikey North has revealed he could be with the soap for a while yet.

Despite speculation he could be making an exit after a dramatic few months, Mikey hinted this might not be the case for now.

Gary is currently in prison, after taking the blame for Adam Barlow's attack – with his sister Faye being the real culprit in a case of mistaken identity.

He's also being grilled over the disappearance of Rick Neelan, who he actually murdered in 2019.

With both events taking centre stage, it would be easy for the character to make an exit soon.

Faye was the real culprit of Adam's attack

Faye is set to confess her crime next week, after opening up about what happened with Ray Crosby.

Ray attempted to rape her, and in revenge she set out to attack him.

But she didn't realise the person she hit was Adam, as he was facing away from her and it was dark.
