Coleen and Wayne Rooney's neighbours have reportedly won the battle to ban the construction of a traveller site near the famous couple's home.
According to The Sun, Cheshire East Council had been inundated with over 1,000 letters of objection citing concerns over the proposed traveller site.
An estimated 50 people and at least 13 caravans had established a community on unused farmland.
The caravan site was located close to the homes of the Rooneys as well as footballer Wes Brown and his Real Housewives Of Cheshire star wife Leanne's home.
The publication reported that proposed building plans for the traveller site was brought forward by a member of the travelling community called Michael Malone.

However, Cheshire East Council has now blocked plans for the site to go ahead after local residents raised concerns about a 'lack of Covid-19' provisions among other fears.
The Sun also reported that a court injunction had been obtained, meaning that any building plans have been blocked.
The documents read: "the site was occupied by increasing numbers of people and caravans, with the site eventually comprising 13 touring caravans, accommodating between 40 and 50 people."
Work has been underway on Coleen and Wayne's sprawling mansion in Cheshire where they live with their four sons Kai, 11, Klay, seven, Kit, four, and Cass, two.

The £20million 40-acre family home in Cheshire – that has been branded the 'Morrisons mansion' in the past – is set to feature a lavish pool and gym complex.
The Rooneys have also built a full-sized football pitch, and even have cinema rooms and stables at the stunning home.
