Joe Wicks didn’t believe in marriage until he met the love of his life.

Growing up, The Body Coach was forced to painfully watch his own parents separating and getting back together.

But his faith in matrimony was restored after falling in love with beloved wife Rosie.

But how did the nation’s PE teacher and a former page 3 model get together?

Initially, Joe and Rosie managed to keep their blossoming relationship a secret as he vowed to keep his private life away from social media.

But they were accidentally exposed by some compromising photos in September 2016.

The pair set tongues wagging by uploading incredibly similar snaps from Richard Branson’s Necker Island.

Whilst they didn’t mention each other, armchair detectives noticed they were uploading pics from exactly the same location at the same time.

Glamour model Rosie, who appeared on FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list in 2013, was taking photos of Joe and vice versa during their romantic getaway.

It didn’t take Joe very long at all to realise that Rosie was going to be his future wife.

And the fitness fanatic explained why he had kept his personal life so private.

“She’s definitely The One. But some things you have to keep for yourself,” he told The Mirror in January 2017.

“I live on social media every day, so the only thing I have that’s private really is me and my girlfriend."

It would be well over a year before Joe would even share a photo of himself with Rosie – and it came alongside some incredible news.

In May 2018, the couple announced were expecting their first child together.

The Body Coach finally broke his social media couple rule and uploaded a sweet snap of the pair holding their baby scan photo.

"Hey everyone, I'm gonna be a Daddy,” Joe proudly declared on Instagram.

"This is the first time I've ever shared a photo of myself with Rosie.

"I've always chosen to keep my personal life and relationship private but with such an amazing new thing coming into our lives I thought it would be nice to share the news with you myself.

"We are both absolutely buzzing to be parents. We don't know the sex of the baby but it's due in just over 10 weeks time."

On July 29 that year, Rosie gave birth to gorgeous baby Indie.

Joe uploaded an adorable photo of the moment his daughter was placed in his arms.

Renaming himself ‘The Baby Coach’, Joe told his followers that baby and mother were both in great health as he thanked fans for their well wishes.

Just months later, Joe got down on one knee to propose to Rosie, and obviously she said ‘yes’.

In an emotional post, Joe opened up on his tough childhood times and his love for his own “little family”.

"My Mum and Dad never got married when I was growing up and spent my whole life separating and getting back together and I always thought I didn’t believe in marriage,” explained Joe.

"But I now know what it means to want to stick together and to love someone enough to want to marry them. I asked Rosie to marry me and luckily she said yes.

“It’s my goal in life to be committed and loyal to Rosie and Indie and always be there for them."

Seven months after getting engaged, the couple got married in June 2019 in a fairytale woodland ceremony on the hottest day of the year.

They opted for a circus theme, going all out with a funfair complete with ferris wheel and merry-go-round.

In keeping with Joe's commitment to eating healthy, delicious food, canapés included arrancini, falafel, mini lamb rolls and tuna with a cheeky mini steak and chips thrown in for good measure.

The newlyweds had their first dance to Sam Cooke’s Nothing Can Change This Love while prosecco and gin and tonic bars helped get everyone in the party mood.

"It’s true when people say your wedding day goes by in a flash. We had the best day ever with our close family and friends," he gushed on Instagram .

"Wanna do it all over again I feel so lucky to have met you Rosie. Thank you for marrying me. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been."

They didn’t waste any time in expanding their little family, announcing that Rosie was pregnant with their second child in August that year.

In December 2019 they welcomed their baby son Marley into the world, with Joe describing his birth as “the best early Christmas present ever”.

When the nation went into lockdown in March last year, Joe inspired millions of us to get fit with his live workouts.

Many of his sessions were gate crashed by adorable daughter Indie, while Rosie helped out after his hand operation.

Some viewers branded Rosie “the hottest substitute teacher” after she took over his PE sessions.

As he watched his model wife work up a sweat, the cheeky Essex chap was heard saying: "I've never seen you sweat so much before… you've got so hot… you're smoking hot. I'm so proud of you."

Joe also candidly confessed his saucy sex schedule with Rosie.

To fan the flames of their romance, the PT guru admitted the married couple have to schedule sex once a week.

The dad-of-two said time was "so disrupted" looking after their children that they have to find one night a week to go to bed earlier.

However, the fitness fan revealed the importance of "reconnecting" in the precious time he has alone with the former Page 3 model.

During Made by Mammas the podcast, he said: "That time is so disrupted it’s almost like you’ve got to crowbar intimacy into your week. One night a week … If you can go to bed earlier… It allows you to have that time to talk. You’ve got to get warmed up sometimes, you can’t just jump straight into things.

"Sometimes, I’ll go to bed with Rosie and we’ll have a really nice chat, we might watch a show […] and you’re suddenly reconnecting."

As well as keeping the nation in shape during lockdown, Joe has been planning on expanding his cute family.

In November last year, he fitness star told OK! Magazine: "We talk about having more kids in the future. We are having a break first, though. Rosie is so amazing at it.

"We’re one of those couples who are better together than apart. We’ve always been like that since day one."
