Beat The Chasers viewers are in for a treat on Sunday night’s instalment of the ITV show, as an engagement could be on the cards.

Avid fans of the game show will no doubt be swooning as contestant Michael gets host Bradley Walsh in an excitable fluster when he reveals his plans for his prize money, should he win.

Michael from Cowbridge in South Wales steps onto the gameshow stage to take on Chasers Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan and Shaun Wallace.

Impressed, the Chasers comment on his suave attire as he takes to the hot seat in a smart shirt and jacket ensemble.

And after making a solid first impression, the business development manager shares some details about his personal life – which leaves the Chasers very excited.

After Bradley asks the contestant what he likes to do in his spare time, the conversation quickly turns to money.

Bradley asks: “If you win some money tonight, what would you do with it?”

“I’d like to do some alterations to the house we’ve built… I’d like to convert the garage and back garden,” Michael replies, before revealing that his partner has different plans for the cash.

“My partner has other ideas,” he reveals.

Michael reveals he has engagement plans if he wins

“So she’s been sending me some pictures of gems which fit on a ring,” Michael explains as he gestured to his ring finger.

“So engagement could be on the cards as well,” he says, as the cameras pan to Jenny Ryan, who cast a rather excitable expression across her face.

Bradley then asks: “What’s your partner’s name?” and Michael tells her name is Nicola.

“Right lets get Nicola an engagement ring, lets do that! You’re going to need some money for that,” Bradley joyously says before getting into the gameshow.

Jenny Ryan looked rather excited by the talk of an engagement

The potential engagement comes the same week that fans pointed out the new changes ITV has made to the studio since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Fans were divided over the changes, with some delighted to see the show behaving responsibly and being able to continue to film during the pandemic.

Others revealed they found it hard to get used to, especially as Bradley is known and loved for hugging the contestants.
