Speaking on Instagram, Tom said: "She’s in the final! Thank you so much if you voted to get her this far. She’ll be blown away and the vote is now open to maybe win.

"I can honestly tell you we didn’t talk about the possibility of her winning it before going in.

"She’s wholeheartedly in there for the experience.. she loves the show.

"And the fact that she got to the Cyclone.. she’ll love that!

"And if she could win it, she’d be blown away. So one more day, pick up the phone or use the app… lets see if we can have a queen of the castle!"

  • I'm A Celebrity fans convinced Shane Richie is keen for EastEnders comeback

Vernon and Giovanna reached the final, along with Radio One DJ Jordan North, after Shane Richie fell at the semi-final stage.

He was voted out by viewers on Thursday but he said that he was pleased to have made it to the Celebrity Cyclone.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after his eviction was announced Shane said: "It’s mixed emotions. You know, getting so far… We were all really glad to do the Celebrity Cyclone last night, being in the fantastic four.

"We felt we’d achieved… I think whenever anyone comes on this show, they feel the final is the Cyclone, and anything after that is a bonus."

Shane also gave some advice to any celebrities that fancied taking up the challenge next year, whether it is in North Wales or back in Australia.

He said: "Anyone who comes on this show next year, you’ve got to embrace it.

"You can’t be… it’s no good trying to be on your own somewhere. You’ve got to be an open book.

"You can’t fake it here, maybe for a couple of days, but after that you can’t."
