EastEnders star Jake Wood has confirmed that he is leaving role as Max Branning in just three weeks' time, after 15 years in the role.
The 48-year-old revealed that he only has three more weeks left of filming the soap, though it is yet unconfirmed when his final scenes will air.
Taking to Twitter, he told his 438.9k followers: "I am a person that always looks forwards, always asks myself what there is to achieve next.
"With only 3 weeks left of filming Eastenders these thoughts are at the forefront of my mind.

A third gushed: "Max is one of the best characters on Eastenders! Hope you go back one day.

Max's exit storyline is not yet know, but fans had predicted he would go out with a bang on Christmas Day.
Stacey Slater, his former fling, is also bowing out – as pregnant actress Lacey Turner prepares to welcome her second child.
She will only be away for an extended break, and again no date has been confirmed by bosses who have yet to actually confirm the news.

But soap expert Sharon Marshall recently hinted Max and Stacey could flee Walford together.
She told This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "Congratulations to Lacey and her husband Matt, who they've announced are pregnant with their second baby.
"She'll arrive and then she'll go off again. But of course, door open.
"Jake Wood has also announced that he'll be taking a break – again, door left open.
"So lots of speculation online – I don't know – but could those two former lovers go off together again? Maybe…"
EastEnders airs Mondays at 8.05pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.35pm and Fridays at 8.35pm on BBC One.
