Earlier this week McDonald's launched their Christmas menu, which includes a Celebrations McFlurry and a Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich.
However the item that's really captured people's attention is the double Big Mac, made up of four patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles and Big Mac sauce in a bun.
It's the biggest burger McDonald's has ever sold and it's the first time it's ever been available in the UK.
Many fans of the fast food chain were excited to try the new burger and raced down to their nearest branch to taste it.
However not everyone was impressed by the offering, with some taking to social media to criticise it.

McDonald’s is launching its Christmas menu today including the Celebrations McFlurry
Responding to a photo shared by the company on Twitter people branded the burger "embarrassing".
They complained about the lack of cheese and sauce in the burger, saying it looked "dry as hell".
One person said: "One slice of cheese? Nah, that's not working for me."
Another wrote: "Be alright if that top burger wasn't going to be dry as hell. No sauce or cheese on them."

A third replied: "Seriously though, one slice of cheese on that Big Mac top half's going to choke someone, didn't it used to have cheese on top as well? Should have four slices on it cheapskates."
Someone else added: "Not being funny McDonald’s but this is embarrassing bring something new to the public not just add two deada** wafer thin burgers it’s lazy!"
Others complained that they'd had difficulty ordering the burger and were instead given, a regular Big Mac or a double cheeseburger, in a double Big Mac box.
An upset customer posted: "Really disappointed with my Double Big Mac… it was just a Big Mac in the Double Big Mac box!"

Not everyone was disappointed by the burger though, a different user claimed they'd had one and it was "amazing".
A second pointed out that you could easily add extra cheese and sauce to the burger – and it probably wouldn't cost you much.
"Having just ordered one of these, try putting 'extra cheese' and 'extra Big Mac sauce' on in the Customise menu.
"The latter even seems to be free."
The double Big Mac is available from McDonald's now, as a single sandwich for £4.19, or as a meal with a side and drink for £5.69.
Speaking to The Sun a spokesperson from McDonald's said: "Our new Double Big Mac has been an incredibly popular new launch on our festive menu this year, and we’re delighted with the positive reaction it’s received so far.
"As with any menu item, customers can choose to customise their order, whether that’s adding a slice of cheese, extra Big Mac sauce or removing the pickles."
