An UFO researcher claims he met Robbie Williams on a spaceship when he was abducted by aliens on the outskirts of Bradford.

Former Bradford businessman Russ Kellett, 57, said he was on his motorbike driving home from a friend's house in Bingley when he was abducted by the aliens in 1999, according to the Daily Star.

He said he was near Druid's Altar when he was taken to a "military unit".

Detailing his experience to the Yorkshire Live, he said: "I went through a tunnel and ended up in a room with tall, bald aliens.

"They had the looks of a human but were 10ft tall – that's not the norm, is it? There were some smaller ones and they all looked the same."

Mr Kellett, who now lives in Filey, north Yorkshire, said he was put in a chair and was given an injection in the back of his neck.

"I am saying, 'what's going on?' I had a tube into my mouth and down my throat. I was panic-stricken."

He was then transferred to another room and given a uniform and weapons.

Mr Kellett started remembering the event during flashbacks. He recollected being in a military unit, readying for "a mission".

"He (Williams) is behind me. We had helmets on. I was ready to go on a mission.

"I looked at him. He must have been 'leader one'. I said 'don't I know you from somewhere?' Robbie Will….?'. An alien then shouted 'get back in line'," said Mr Kellett.

"You do not mess with these dudes," he added. "This is serious stuff, it is not a joke. It is called abduction."

Mr Kellett – who initially refrained from sharing his story as some people told him it was "too far-fetched" – said he is not the only one to have been abducted by aliens and "more than you realise" have been through similar experiences.

He is now working on a book about the abduction which was to be titled 'ET Rider' in reference to the motorbike. But the title of the book due out next year has now been changed to 'Through the Eye of an Alien'.

Williams spoke out about his fascination for extra-terrestrial life years after Mr Kellett's claimed abduction and also produced a BBC4 documentary on the topic.

The music star didn't deny the story when approached by the Daily Star but simply said: "No comment."
