SPECULATION has been rife for months now regarding the future of Mesut Ozil.
The German playmaker, 30, has barely seen the pitch in 2019 – featuring in just two matches this season, including a Carabao Cup run-out.
3 Arsenal bosses have had their say on Ozil, and it's not pretty
Arsenal boss Unai Emery now appears to prefer the likes of youngsters Joe Willock, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka to Ozil.
A host of former stars, including Ray Parlour, Ian Wright and Martin Keown, have all had their say on what the issue appears to be.
But with the former Real Madrid star's stock rapidly dropping, we take a look at what bosses WITHIN the club are saying about the floundering flop.
Head of football
ARSENAL fans love Sanllehi – especially after such a fantastic summer in the transfer window, pulling off stunning move after stunning move.
So when Sanllehi talks, fans listen – and that's not good news for Ozil, with the Spaniard essentially calling the German unfit and lazy.
Sanllehi said: "Unai's policy has always been to play the ones that work hard in training.”
HE'S the man in charge of picking the team – and he's not picking Ozil.
While Emery has refused to question the midfielder's fitness or attitude, he has simply stated he's not good enough.
The boss said: “I am thinking every time to decide with the best players for each match and the best players in the squad to play and help us.
“When I decided he isn't in the squad, it is because I think another player deserves it more.”
Then when asked if Ozil could be sold in January, he merely mumbled: “He's our player, now.”

Coach and former Arsenal captain
NOW this is a man you wouldn't want to argue with – and he's hardly been full of praise for Ozil.
Mertesacker has unequivocally slated his compatriot's desire and fitness – saying it's impossible to motivate him.
The former defender said: “I hope Mesut can get fit. Unai requires a certain fitness level.
“Unai is fair to everyone. You need to deliver a certain fitness level – then you are available to play. Unai tries to get through to him.
"He talks to him, saying: ‘You need to train to a certain level every day – I need you to be fit – otherwise you are not going to play.’"

Mertesacker continued: “It’s his personality, he doesn’t take it personally. I don’t know what the trigger is. I had my go.
"I’ve tried very hard to be close, to stay away from him… sometimes I’ve given him a shout, sometimes not. He was OK with everything."
And "The BFG" even claimed he gets "p***ed off" with "magical" Ozil for his attitude, saying: "Once he gets the ball, he’s rested.
"He thinks he is playing in the park. He can deliver the ball that no one else can deliver. He has got that magical sense.
“But he is not the kind of guy who approaches people and says, ‘You need to do this, that and that’.
“He’s a different character and sometimes I struggled with that. Sometimes I was really p***ed with him for days and weeks.”
The man himself
"YOU'RE not a coach".

But it is allegedly what Ozil muttered when he was hauled off by Emery in the Europa League final defeat to Chelsea in June.
So if there's one thing you can take from this – it's that all is not well between Arsenal and Ozil.
