TOON skipper Jamaal Lascelles will be grilled today after catching a train to London following their thrashing at Leicester.
Boss Steve Bruce was under the impression Lascelles was heading to Nottingham after asking for permission to spend some time with his family.

Instead, he arrived at London St Pancras just hours after Newcastle’s pitiful surrender.
The rest of Newcastle’s players flew back to the north east — without Lascelles and team-mate DeAndre Yedlin.
Despite the shameful manner of their defeat, Lascelles was laughing and joking with Yedlin during the one hour forty minute journey to London.
Yedlin, who came off the bench in the second half of this shameful showing, has been given permission to go to the capital by Bruce for some rehab work.
But Lascelles, who claimed the players and not the manager should take responsibility for the performance, does not have the same excuse.

Bruce, who watched Sunday’s opponents Manchester United from the Old Trafford stands last night, plans talks with Lascelles today.
The Newcastle chief believes he has been misled after Lascelles indicated that he would be spending time with his family 27.5 miles up the road in Nottingham.
It is the latest example of the disorder inside the dressing room as Bruce tries to find a way to take them out of the bottom three.
