UNAI EMERY has confirmed that Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a one-year loan deal.
The 22-year-old Spanish international is due to travel to London for a medical on Tuesday after Real boss Zinedine Zidane gave the green light to the move.

Emery confirmed: “We were speaking about the possibility of signing one player on loan.
“We had different names but Ceballos is a very good player. I know him from Betis at the beginning and Real Madrid.
"He played very well in the Under-21s, his national team won the competition. He is an eight and ten midfield player."
And its another morale-boosting victory for the Gunners after securing a £27million deal for young defender William Saliba despite Tottenham’s best efforts to hijack the signing.
Zidane has still made it clear that Ceballos still has a future at the Bernabeu, but he believes the player will benefit from the experience of playing regular Premier League football.
With those two deals now in the bag, Arsenal will step up their efforts to prise Scotland full-back Kieran Tierney from Celtic.
The Scottish Champions have already rejected two bids for Tierney and are holding out for £25m.
And Arsenal are now in a position to match that price because they are not paying the full £27m for Saliba until he arrives from St Etienne next year.

Emery admitted after Saturday’s impressive 3-0 win over Fiorentina: “I am patient for signings because we want to choose the best solution.
“Some players are very expensive and we are waiting for this possibility because we don’t now want to go for the second line of players.
“We are aware we need to improve some players in the squad but I only want to sign three or four if we can be sure they coming to make us better.”
