SHEFFIELD UNITED are putting the heat on Manchester United while Dean Henderson's loan move to Bramall Lane remains on ice.
It was widely expected the young goalkeeper will return to the Blades after helping them achieve promotion from the Championship last season.

But before that deal could take place, a new contract at Old Trafford was to be negotiated.
Now less than three weeks away from the start of the season, Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder admits that his side may have to look elsewhere to fill the position.
Wilder told The Star: "[It] isn't progressing at the pace we'd like.
"He wants to come, the football people at Manchester United want him to come.
"I think he will, but we might also have to start considering alternatives."
Henderson was named Blades' Young Player of the Year after featuring in every game of their promotion winning campaign.

And the Yorkshire club are setting about their attempt to stay in the Premier League with intent, breaking their transfer record three times.
With Phil Jagielka arriving on a free transfer, Wilder's side have snapped up Luke Freeman, Callum Robinson and, on Sunday, Lys Mousset from Bournemouth.
A goalkeeper is still required with only Simon Moore between the sticks at the moment – and the manager initially stated he was "very confident" Henderson would arrive when speaking last week.
