Received a hero’s welcome when he stepped off the team bus.
Brendan Rodgers emerged first to pleas of: “Tell Harry to stay,” which raised a smile from the relaxed Foxes boss.
Maguire was among the last to disembark but was applauded and cheered from that moment on.
Looked oblivious to any fuss and shared a relaxed chat with Scunny sub and his former Blades’ teammate Harrison McGahey while warming up.
This was the friendliest of pre-season friendlies but Maguire approached it like the perfect pro.
This wasn’t a night for crunching tackles or last ditch tackles and the big lad strolled serenely around Glanford Park giving those muscular legs a bit of a stretch.
