She said: “The second half of the game gets binned sometimes because Love Island is on.

“It depends if it’s a good game or not. I get them to watch it on the iPad.”

England boss Phil Neville has also watched the show but was turned off by the raucous drama.

Defender Abbie McManus added: “Phil watched the first one and now he won’t put it back on.”

Meanwhile, Duggan sees flashes of Pep Guardiola in Lionesses's chief Neville’s philosophy.

PIP GUARDIOLA

The England striker knew women’s football was on the up when the tiki-taka trailblazer started studying her movement.

Barcelona star Duggan — who joined from Manchester City in July 2017 — said: “When Pep arrived at City he took time off to speak to us. He was a gentleman.

“I remember at one stage I was doing some extra running in the indoor dome and he actually just came over.

“He was just standing there watching me, and I thought, ‘Oh, bloody hell’.

“I was knackered. Do I stop? Shake his hand? Or carry on and pretend that I can’t see Pep Guardiola?
